Other Comments: I put a group of 6 young ones about 2 inches in length in a 55 gallon tank with a 3 inch severum, a 4 inch bala shark and a 2.5 inch paradise fish. I put a bunch of caves on the bottom and floating plants on top to make it shady. as they grew they made pairs so I dragged 3 25 gallon tanks out of my basement and gave each pair its own tank, they went into the caves and stayed in there for almost a month only coming out at night to eat freeze-dried tubifex worms. eventually I lifted up the cave and they were surrounded by a couple of eggs. this happened with all of them. I should have taken the parents out maybe a week after they wouldnt leave the cave. No wonder they wouldnt eat much. | |
